A little about my studio ... I photograph indoors in the studio or outdoors all around Portland , and I specialize in prenatal , newborn , baby and children's photography including teens . The focus is on quality in my studio , and the resulting prints are archival quality and classic portraits you will love to see on your wall year after year . The studio has simple props that add texture and color , but I don't use elaborate sets with bird's nests or docks by the sea , because they distract from the subject and you will tire of them in a few years . I have specialized props such as fringie blankets and hats to use with newborns and babies , plus fabrics we use for draping in maternity photos . In addition , I have I spend a lot of extra time getting just the right look , and never rush you . I feel so lucky to be doing what I love right here in Portland . My passion is getting portraits of you being yourselves , having a silly moment or getting a hug , being delirious or serious , happy or sad . The best photographs I take are usually the ones the mall photographers would throw away because they are not "perfect" .
